Letter of Recommendation
This letter shall serve to recommend Marion Wikholm as a Public Speaker. My company, Carl Mack Presents, is one of the leading talent agencies in New Orleans, providing talent and models to conventions, hotels, casinos and special events. We have successfully presented Marion Wikhom at numerous luncheons and dinners to provide entertaining and informative speeches to a variety of guests. Marion has always been well received and clients have been very pleased with her approach to humor and inspiration. Marion is extremely professional and personable and I would highly recommend her as one of the top public speakers in New Orleans.

Thanks!

A Comedy of Reality and Resilience
Marion Wikholm is one of the most amazing, life-affirming
comediennes I have ever experienced in 40 years of reviewing live performance. She's a hilarious, honey-voiced "sit-down comic" who chose to take the lemons life gave her when she was growing and
make lemon pies for throwing. Marion is a comic who's really on a roll -- in her wheelchair. With a few words, she dispels audience unease by telling us, "I'm not a victim, I'm an opportunist. If something goes wrong, I learn from it, correct it or blame it on my husband." A psychologist and "inspirational humorist," her mantra is "making a fool out of yourself is good for your mental health," explaining, "Humor is the light at the end of the tunnel. Humor is incredibly helpful and healthy." Wikholm goes determinedly beyond pain and direct to joy with her humor. Her winsome delivery of nuggets of wisdom wrapped in laughter gives an audience license to laugh at even the worst curve balls that life throws us.
Hers is the comedy of reality and resilience.
